Recorder Karate Chains

I use four-inch silver ball chains to display the beads for each level of achievement in Recorder Karate. The chains (with beads) hang from the Peripole halos. If the student doesn't have a recorder with a halo, I put the chain around a small rubber band which wraps around a joint on the recorder. Hang the chain on the right side so it doesn't get in the way of the left hand as students play.

This has worked very well for me and is very little hassle. Most students can add their own beads without my help. The beads and chains can be purchased inexpensively from a craft store.
